Now people are complaining about them not being able to complain on a topic about a phone they'll never use?

iPhones may in be faster than Android, but to be honest, both have reached a point where you're not really going to notice it anyway, right?

I had an iPod touch 4g, and my experience with iOS and how slow my iPod was has really made me dislike iOS in general. I know it's not really fair, but w/e. I then got a comparably priced Android phone (phones are generally more expensive then something like an iPod), and it performed miles better than my iPod ever did, even right out of the box, my iPod would get roasted by my phone.

And then there's simply the look of iOS. Every iteration of it has been ugly, IMO.

This thread exploded overnight.

So what happened?

People still comparing specs / benchmarks like it actually matters.

Wow. I mean, it matters to a point, but there is no way you can say it matters enough to say that one is more powerful than the other. So what if Androids have better hardware? They are limited by their badly optimized operating system.

No one loving cares steve. iPhone has plenty of advantages over android phones and android phones have plenty of advantages over iPhones. If someone has had an iPhone their entire life and is satisfied with it, they're probably going to continue to buy it. If someone has had an android their entire life and is satisfied with it, they're probably going to continue to buy it. You're literally arguing about nothing.
Ravencroft brings up a good point. People need to accept that CAN BE DIFFERENT WITHOUT ONE BEING INHERENTLY BETTER THAN THE OTHER. Seriously.

Also, my friend brought up a very good point that most people miss: while Android phones might get their new features sooner than Apple devices, those features are usually still in alpha or beta, or haven't been fully developed and/or tested yet. On the other hand, Apple waits until the product and all of it's features are stable before releasing it onto the market. Once again, neither way is better than the other, they're just different. One caters to more controlling users, the other to those who don't need or want that extra control.

How many times have people tried to say this on the internet? It obviously does not work.

One caters to more controlling users, the other to those who don't need or want that extra control.
This conclusion has been reached in this thread like three times. The argument just loops around.

Yes.

Why are you guys still arguing? Literally no one is going to change their minds based on what you say.

Android gives users the unfinished content, however that does not mean you will not get finished content.
iPhones get only finished content, while Android gets unfinished content for a glimpse, and finished content. There is nothing preventing the user from only using finished content for whatever reason.
Point stands where people say Android get features sooner than iPhone - they do, but not the finished product, which basically makes the statement sort of a lie. This can go two ways.

I still do not have my t-shirt.

I am upset.

if a phone can run an app like real racing 3, why the forget do benchmarks matter
you're most likely NEVER going to use THAT much performance

Yeah but buying an iPhone outside of a contract is a stupid move. If you don't plan on using it for at least 3 years, it's probably not a wise financial decision. If you just want to be free of a contract for some moral reason, then you're probably too much of a hipster for an iPhone anyway.
Did you just call someone who doesn't want an iPhone a hipster lol
