Android is loving stuff. Laggy and not optimized for stuff. Also apps are not as nice as they are on iPhone. And on iPhone all the app icons are the same theme, instead of a ton of different ones.

If it's so bad then give it to me and get something better. OR, show us a video of you destroying it.

did you really just complain about app icons?

Don't try to change his decision. I find his choice very entertaining.

I suggest a sledgehammer.

It depends on the phone. When I had my iPhone 3GS, it was hella laggy, but my Samsung Galaxy S3 works fine.

Also apps are not as nice as they are on iPhone.
"Nice" is subjective.

And on iPhone all the app icons are the same theme, instead of a ton of different ones.
The only consistency in icons on iOS are in the rounded edges. The consistency between the actual content of the icons (outside of preinstalled apps) is negligible. Plus, it doesn't matter that much when the icons look nice regardless. Most apps on Android that matter have nice, modern, clean-looking icons in their own right. From a certain perspective, Apple's guidelines when it comes to that can be quite restricting.

I would rather be allowed to use a terminal than have "higher quality" apps.

My current phone is an iPhone 4 jailbroken. I cannot stand how low quality the terminal emulator is on Cydia. It is utter stuff.

Blueblur, you are literally the 1%. I've never seen someone care so much about a command line on a phone, lol.

what realistic reason would you have for using it anyhow

Well-

Uh... Yeah, ok.

what realistic reason would you have for using it anyhow
I use it very frequently on my computer and server, and allowing my phone to access all of the same utilities is very convenient.

such as

Openssh, midnight commander, irssi, htop, vim, etc.

I really like using ssh and htop together because it allows me to monitor my computer, server, and phone all at the same time on the same screen.
