So, EA makes a sequel to a popular game that contains fewer features than sims 3

The game isn't selling, so a designer threatens good sales or no sims 5

I guess that's one way to keep your money flowing in

This seems like the 2nd coming of msellers (RotMG inside joke)

good they already killed the series

Why the forget would we wants Sims 5 if they're too stupid to make Sims 4 properly anyway.

What does the sims 4 really add compared to the sims 3?

their definition on success is a little messed up after how popular sims 2 got
either way, sims is taking a plummet anyways lol

it didn't really add anything, it removed a bunch of things though

The same thing happened to Command and Conquer. "Sales were bad. Time to move on to a new franchise to milk!"

I'm sure they're grown out of The Sims by now, so I don't really disagree with this decision, and it seems like The Sims has been dying out recently anyways.

So they just remade sims 3 from scratch, skipped a bunch of stuff, and expected it to sell like a new game?

Yeah forget them.

This forum sometimes...

Why in the world would they make a sequel if it sells poorly? Like honestly isnt it common sense that if you make a game and its poorly received you DONT go make a sequel to it?

Sims 4 will do fine anyway, especially once the expansion packs start pouring in - Same as always

Business "sense". Especially when they overlook the actual content of the reviews, and automatically assume we mean that we don't want Sims anymore.

We want a GOOD Sims game. Not a broken one. They aren't getting it, and now they're punishing us for it.

I doubt it.
