Not quite blocky enough.

Try using more hexagons and octagons, if needed, decagons for cylindrical shapes.

I disagree. I think that Blockland has a very distinct style that is important to preserve. There's a difference between being trapped in a "shell" and an important, game-defining aesthetic.

The thing is, the turret has influences of both styles.  The main body is an almost blocky style, and the rest of it is closer to realistic.  The base in pegs... I don't even know what's going on there.
