Author Topic: And my parents blocked my internet again.  (Read 3580 times)

Normally I'd sympathise with you and say that censorship doesn't solve much, but you have a loveual attraction to birds you probably developed online so I sincerely think you could use a break.

Maybe it's a sign

Idk, I mean what I always did when my parents tried taking my computer was literally taking it back. It's p hard to hide a desktop computer, so I'd just walk around my parents' room until I found it and then reinstall it in my room. Maybe defend the computer next time. Once they hid it too well, so I just hid the router from them and offered a trade. I was a pretty clever kid.
My dad used to take and "hide" my computer too
One day he put it in an external storage unit, one of those garage type things, which was right next to our neighborhood.
Then he went and stopped paying rent, so the owner of the units locked it up and we couldn't get in until he paid all the past due rent

i went through my router and changed the default password to something else
they cant do stuff now
lol

AT&T Put the router in my room. They can't do stuff without getting past me :)

My dear sweet mother just took my tablet (as well as my brother's) today. She said that we weren't allowed to have them back until we cleaned up the house to her standards. My mom is an absolute cleaning fanatic about everything.

Well I,

>swept the basement twice
>cleaned out the utility room and the guest area
>put away tons of clothes that she just threw all over my bed (I do my own laundry, I have no idea why she had to empty the dryer for me
>vacuum the living room, including under the couch and furniture
>clean through computer junk
>empty/load dishwasher
>clean kitchen floor

After doing all that, she turns and says that I "use internet too much" and "waste too much data". She's one to talk since she is always watching videos and spending a lot of time on Facebook, neither of which I do. But either way, I'm conned out of my tablet and cleaned the house for her.

I use to have to deal with this a lot. But then everything changed when the fire nation attacked

AHHHHHHH

same with me
Xfinity put my router, and our phone lines in my room, we have the phone connected to the router.
my room is basically the control center lifeline of the internet we have at our house

Buy a micro router and configure it yourself, and then plug it into the modem.

They found out about the birds

buy a new router, and switch it out when the nanny kicks in

so are you still connected to their network, just not able to access any sites?
