this has been the case for a little over two days now
comcast pls
a technician was supposed to show up today but they apparently never did. i'm not entirely certain because i was out all day and i'm fairly certain my brother and housemate were asleep all day. that wasn't a very good decision on my part.

They're normally pretty good on all fronts, I've never had issues with them before and nor have friends.

maybe you need a new modem from them. they have new ones like every 6 months.

their services were the trashiest stuff ever in our area. We're going back to at&t after being traumatized

even if it does suck, i would use cable over dsl any day.

we're using our own equipment
i tested the set up at another buddy's house who has the same plan and everything worked fine. there's a chance that the ethernet cables i lethargically made are acting up, but since it's affecting the wifi too that's probably not it

as i understand verizon is okay
frankly i don't really see any reason to change as long as this doesn't happen again

I honestly hate Comcast, but its pretty much the only service offered where I live as far as I know.

have your friend test his hardware at your place then.

at least you will know if its a cable issue.
