It does not really matter. Gender is for the most part just another useless label. I do not see a reason to even care. I never even tried to find out who had what gender.

i guess the only way to tell if someone is a girl is if they're name is a typical lady's name or if it has 'girl' in there

Usually I can't even tell when someone is a girl. I think of the ones that I know of, Tills is the only one that I absolutely can't stand.
