well a supernova cant travel faster than light sooo... it would take longer than that.

and since mars is the center of our solar system and it takes atleast 8 seconds for light to even reach us. I think its safe to say I could blink a few times before I die.

also this next part might not be true but we may even have a second or two after we actually see the supernova before we would get hit by the explosion
