Author Topic: Were do I look for original Torque game engine  (Read 950 times)

I'm obviously talking about the one baldsport uses. When I go to garagegames website they only have torqe 3d and 2d. Is the old torque engine now torque 2d? I remember about a year ago they made TGE open sourced or something.

why would you want to use an outdated game engine on purpose
especially when the newer version of it is free and open-source

why would you ever want it

A friend wants to start on making video games and his computer can't run any of these fancy new game engines.

it's only hard to run if you make it hard to run. just because it uses T3D doesn't mean it's going to be intensive by default. I'm 100% sure you can disable any fancy lighting effects or anything like that
