The only good music is the kind that isn't part of the industry.

shut the forget up holy stuff i can't tell if you're joking, being sarcastic, or really that loving dense jesus loving christ

>implying every cool new up and coming artist is going to have a soundcloud
>not checking bandcamp
>or you know
>your local record store
>learn what generalization is
>get back to me l8er

Pretty much anything mainstream.

I am fine with some mainstream pop, like "fancy", mainly because SOME have a good beat to it that matches my jogging speed lol.

I loving hate Metal and Screamer and MOST rap songs.

I don't like most music at all. Anything with lyrics is terrible. The only music I like listening to is so incoherent and unpredictable so I can forget what I was thinking about.

uhm

>implying that they ever became obsolete
they ARE obsolete. You can recreate the "feel" that any record has to it through an equalizer/compressor, and digital music is much more accurate bit-wise than records are.

nope.
why would you say this?

there are records being pressed every day, in fact, and they're really kicking back.

go to http://discogs.com and look by formats, you'll see that the most popular format is vinyl.

why?

because of how hard people are sucking up to it.

I'm not saying that they don't make records anymore. I'm saying you can get literally everything audio-wise that you can get out of a record and more from a digital copy of the same song.

Not true. Digital operates on a fine square wave, whereas records use an actual sine wave. Provided that the record is clean and unscratched, it is possible for it to have superior sound quality.

This video should show you that that is incorrect and that digital audio is indeed superior to vinyl audio, audio wise.
