I'm only halfway into this but it's noticeably designed to trick the listener into turning it up more than they need to. The hiss indicates the microphone to be turned way up, but the storyteller's voice is rather soft. So anything closer to the mic is going to jump out at the listener...god, I'm just set up for the cold switch to violently louder audio...the only question is, when will it happen?
