Vielle Garde troops of the 34th and 6th Infantry Battalions have seized a tank depot in Toulon, gaining control of 17 AMX-13 Light tanks, 23 captured WW2 era Panzer IVs, and 3 Panther tanks.

VG troops of the 4th and 5th divisons are pushing north into Avignon supported by elements of the 54th Artillery Regiment and the 3rd Armored Corps. They are met with heavy resistance by FRA conscripts. Ultimately, it seems that the VG will push onwards due to their advanced weaponry and armored vehicles. Reinforcement from regular FRA troops not expected until 3 days.

FRA 8th Infantry Division attempts to re-take Bordeaux, but they are pushed back by veteran guerrillas of the second world war, who are armed with Berthier carbines and Molotov roostertails. The 11th Infantry Division is expected to reinforce the 8th in 2 days.

The FRA CEAM .30 assault rifle is being pressed into service with select Free French veteran units and Foreign Legion units. Initial reports show that the rifle is reliable, accurate, and easy to maintain, if slightly underpowered.
