Well the most similar place terrain/geographic locationally would be the Indonesia islands

yea this is good, it a similar enough biome/terrain features I had in mind

Which in places are categorized AM so it works.

What confuses things is it is not just an island though so its not full tropical, its an island pressed up against an eastern end of a continent right at the hemisphere which isnt common on our planet.

While Ru'yeo is in a state of restoration and will not be able to contribute directly to the war, many ex-Arm of Bao elites are encouraged to aid the nation's OTA allies with the state providing their transportation costs and loans of supplies upon electing to serve as mercenaries on behalf of their nation's allies.

Galaumia understands. We will provide the capital required to any country to pay for these mercenaries.

I'm just going to put it out in the open, Avalonia and Atensia have an official unofficial live and let live get along to get along neither of us want a war so let's just not go out of our way to step on each others' toes thing going on arranged via pm (specifically regarding Calzone, but ultimately inclusive of more), that's why Swat can say with reasonable certainty that I won't embroil myself in this mess (also I have another one to deal with on the other side of the world against Asar's ally).  Avalonia was involved in Calzone, when it seemed remotely profitable to do so, but not in the end - the New Union was not then prepared to defend itself from what would have followed, having only recently reclaimed the fatherland (HN is big now, too; would be a bloody, painful, devastating war for both sides if we went at it).  All that said, the New Union and the HN aren't buddy buddy either - the Cassian faith as a political entity is still something to be kept away from the fatherland (ergo the Calzone truce), although trade with them is currently a noteworthy cog in the plan for world domination a strong nation.

The New Union will take in any refugees should they make it to the New Union, as has been the policy for any governments in exile and refugees for the past several millenia.  The New Union will not get involved militarily at this point.

However, a representative is sent to Cassanoia to reason with the Pope &/or the Emperor of Albiton so that those who wish to leave Espovon peacefully for neutral territory during these violent times may do so, perhaps on New Union ships.

The New Union pledges to send 50,000 horse archers, 40,000 light cavalry, and 10,000 heavy cavalry to aid in the conquest of Ytsur, and possibly more troops as needed.  Along with these troops will go military observers, engineers, cooks, messengers, morale officers, and strategists.  Time will be needed to mobilize these troops and horses for such action, however (particularly if the HN is willing to be reasonable and boats are needed to evacuate refugees from Espovon).

In the year 1000, Hwan Ghou Kai gives a speech commemorating the official founding of the nation of Ru'yeo. He thanks the people for putting their faith in him and pledges that to his last breath he would see that the nation be set on the right course to reclaim its honor and unity. The nation adopts a new banner at this time to disassociate it with it's previous rule.

Just wanna throw something in here.  You all don't have to go by the same calendar year, since not all calendars would go by the birth of Jesus.  That being said, please list your calendar type in your nation list.  If you do add a calendar type other that Gregorian, please let me know what current year it is for you, so I can add the calendar name and year into the OP.  The new format is in the nation format.  I will have usually put the date on which the nation was founded in the second OP, so you can refer to that as you wish.

We will continue to use the Gregorian calendar as primary, but I do believe that this is something that could be more or less irrelevant to many entities worldwide.

Well if my nation is going off of a Lunar Calendar which many asian countries did, it would be inherently unstable, so the timing of being founded on year 1000 could be just a nifty coincidency (Similar to the chinese metal printing press being made in 1234ad)

Hey guys, sorry I haven't posted in 17 years. I've been super busy. Like not have time to even browse the forums busy so I definitely haven't been able to keep up. I may join back late May when things start to die down a little, if this is still running (I feel it will be) and if Estrand could be made static or an NPC, whichever is easier, that'd be great. Thanks for taking this so far, vry proud of it and grateful for you all c:

At this point I need more time to finish things that are coming under deadlines as well and thus request the new nation of Ru'yeo to be placed as a city state.

I guess you could say it is about time that I "Bao out".

I'm in the same boat, actually.

Estrand will be placed in stasis.

Would you like stasis or complete dissolution of ownership?

Would you like stasis or complete dissolution of ownership?

Note, that REs will still affect nations in stasis.  If something catastrophic happens, your nation will miraculously be preserved somehow to the point of same control that you would have at the time of leaving.

Dissolution will result in your nation becoming an NPC, and things can happen with it in any way.  It may or may not be recoverable, but the closest example I have is grunter's repossession of Aspidis.

espov navy is sent to show up behind enemy landing parties and attempt to burn /attack the fleets

also I'm out for today, I'll be back in about 8 hours

espov navy is sent to show up behind enemy landing parties and attempt to burn /attack the fleets
The Albitonic Navy spots them as they've almost reached the shore, and hastily attempts to turn to attack, but in doing so, loses a few ships before it can gain its footing.  The Albitonic fleet, however, outsizes the Espov fleet, and is gradually gaining advances.
