Holy stuff I didn't noticed Aldegar is nearly wiping me off the map... How the forget would that have happened? I assumed they took some territory to the east, not that they just appeared out of nowhere and had the military to stomp across Hlaomarr without even the slightest resistance.

forget that defensive stuff I was spouting early. We're rolling up on those starfishs. The government has commissioned all resources to go into this war, slaves are being used to build great war ships never before seen in the royal navy. Conscription has begun across the territory, and we're throwing everything we've got back at those greedy bastards. We won't stop this fight until Aldegar is completely destroyed.

I am asking the NPC's if they want to join??

Trade request sent to Dirvash
They say yes.

That happened almost two centuries ago and it's still happening.

I'm alright with that PM swat 3.

Also, after that happens, we'll convert to the holy order.

Atenisian fishermen up north catch news of a "War of the North".

News travels to Atenisia quickly. It becomes common talk. A fleet is sent out to meet the nation that was depicted as the "good guys" in the tale that the fisherman was told by a Nordic trader.

The shogunate decrees that in the coming years that the most lesser houses that can seize great amount of lands for the overall betterment of the land will find themselves a personal invitation from the ruling clan to a 'private' feast. Such a thing no doubt promises good fortune on the clan that receives the invitation, and as such the little grimy bastards loving seize land from the surrounding mountainsides from tribes either through diplomacy or through force, though the most prominent of which is the Jikiro clan, whom successfully took land from a sizable tribe and seized land suitable for farming, even up in their Himalayan-esque bumhole. It isn't much, but it's definitely something.

Erinaum requests to the Ezbatan delegation that Ezbátu request that we should be friends to our neighbors, Ashibia, Gungixao, and Sjinai, offering gifts, trade, peace treaties and alliances, if negotiations go well.

Also, some new wars started.  Look at the info page for updates on what's going on.

Lets void the bad badness of threatening and not even ask to want the strait.
That "badness" has existed for centuries upon centuries.  Don't frickin void it.  That would be like voiding the Bequelans hating Banishira, except this has lasted even longer.

Avalonia sends representatives to Marvius and Dirvash to talk trade and also consider what's to be done about all this Christianity which threatens our German ways and closes trade (specifically what's gone down in the Pachtland and how it affects us; if they're willing to talk about it, Avalonia would like to bring some Ormica and Espul in on it as well).

I am talking about me wanting the land that you let go.

And Dirvash is Christian.

I'd like to give a healthy reminder of the unlikely alliance;

Wait so am I at war with Tasmesova or was that just a rogue general for our awakening?

I am talking about me wanting the land that you let go.
Avalonia did not "let it go", people of Avalonian descent who grew quite a bit of food for export to Avalonia were exiled because the people whose ancestry was native had a growing hatred for foreigners and a religious shift tilted the delicate balance.  What I'm saying is that simply voiding that xenophobia so that you can expand flows counter to fairness, and that those people would be opposed to foreign interaction as a whole so far as it depends on them.

Dang it Dirvash; well then, trade with em for now, don't talk with them about the perceived threat of Christianity.

I agree with grunter.  Did you even RP out those nations joining or did you just slap names on a list and call it official?

In the REs it was meant as a one time thing.

a second army is dispatched to aid in the northern conflict, the first army has split in two to encircle a previously scouted rebel camp, the attack is planned at nightfall aandd the esoldiers are orderd to lleaave minimal traces of movement.

constant scouting is still enforced, raiding is stopped until main attack.

the rebel camp area/deployment area is being constantly checked for defences and advantages secretly.

Can you label this region on a map, please?

Over time, the Pachtland came to include more inland territories as ethnic Avalonians increased the scope of their farming (it was originally more coastal than anything else).  At this point, nobody in Avalonia calls it the Pachtland; it is now called the "Verlornland" (Lost land).

I maintain that such xenophobia should by no means be only in that region, but saturate the entire nation (at least as far as policy is concerned), given the Verlornland's proximity to the capitol.

As ethnic Avalonians move into Espovon, Avalonia decides to offer Espovon aid in quelling its rebellion, if desired.

Avalonian farmers seek more places to make up for the decrease in food production afforded by the loss of the Verlornland, and as a result, many seek to cultivate the lands to Avalonia's East.  These people are as a whole more like Avalonians than the residents of the Verlornland and have a stronger sense of hospitality, and do not fear that Avalonia is trying to take over.
