I've posted the actual statistics twice already, whenever you're ready to stop ignoring them

In the first large-scale government survey measuring Americans’ loveual orientation, the NHIS reported in July 2014 that only 1.6 percent of Americans identify as gay or lesbian.

That includes edgy teens doing it for attention, people in the closet, and well, everyone.

Settle down there, no one's getting hurt.

ive been openly gay since i was around fourteen and had no idea there was some huge survey about gay americans

there is no possible way that is everyone

i was also 18/19 in july so its not because im a minor

Breaking news: Surveys don't include every single member of a population.

Breaking news: Surveys don't include every single member of a population.
uh that wasnt my point

but in any case
why are you using the word everyone

That includes...people in the closet...everyone.
No it doesn't
If someone is still struggling over their loveuality, or still closeted, and asked if their gay/bi, they're going to answer "no" or "i don't know" and thus not be counted
There's no way this population can be counted

I could be wrong, but I think this scale is trying to take subjective questions and produce objective results. This post is for science, and also a little bit of my loveuality.

Like, "I find the idea of having love with another man repulsive", I don't find it repulsive, per se, but it's definitely not something that would I would set out to do... or do if I had other options.
I took the test again quite a bit after I did the first few test runs. I had dinner, did some work, generally let the preconceptions of this test get out of my head before I did it again. Here's what I answered (as well as that I am about 20 and I am a man):

A couple of these took quite some time to figure out what my actual answers for them were, especially the more strangely worded ones.
Here's the result:

so you're going to make up a statistic you like as opposed to working on existing data gathering methods? awesome, get the forget out.
aw hell i confused you and ulti...ultimate...max....what ever. which is weird because there's nothing similar about you two.

I guess I'm unusual ;)

so you're going to make up a statistic you like as opposed to working on existing data gathering methods? awesome, get the forget out.
what
what the forget are you talking about
If someone is gay but hasn't figured it out yet, and you ask them if they're gay, they're going to say no, and thus not be counting in the statistic of gay population
how am I making anything up
It even says exactly what I'm saying in the link I posted

However, a measurable higher percentage acknowledge having same-love attraction, or experience, without identifying as LGBT. This makes it difficult to accurately record the demographics of LGBT community in the United States
the forget are you going on about

You could have just told me not to post, but that would be kind of dumb since I already shared my results anyway, so all there's left to do is talk about other people's scores.

he has a pregnancy special interest, men cant get pregnant

now dont you feel silly

"are you straight? (y/n)"
"are you gay? (y/n)"

repeat ad infinitum
