Kidding me? That's half the reason why I spend so much money on taxes to get those damn windmills!

Who wouldn't want this?

Snow is the best thing in canada.

Snow breaks windmills. >:C

One major bad thing about Canada...
Justin Beiber

Snow.

Snow is the best thing in canada.

Gives you a thing to do when your bored.

I'm talking about these heaps of scrap.

They cost more in maintenance then they produce and put people out of work, It's a waste of money.

half the time when it's windy you don't even see them running either.

also they decrease property value and sometimes cause health problems.

Where did you hear this?

I agree when you say it costs a lot. But it still produces a lot of energy at the same time. One 1.8 MW wind turbine at a reasonable site would produce over 4,700 000 kWh of electricity each year, enough to meet the annual needs of over 1,000 households
It creates jobs for people to build them and for people to do maintenance on them and for people to create new designs.

half the time when it's windy you don't even see them running either.

That's not entirely true, you can't be watching windmills 24/7 to say this is true.

also they decrease property value and sometimes cause health problems.

How do they cause health problems exactly?

In canada you can do every single job  so why need em

This doesn't make sense.

This doesn't make sense.

Canada is more different then US then you think.

Canada is more different then US then you think.
what the forget are you talking about?

Canada is more different then US then you think.
I'm still confused on what you're trying to get at.

They cost more in maintenance then they produce and put people out of work, It's a waste of money.
Windmills create jobs by having people build them and maintain them.

half the time when it's windy you don't even see them running either.
You can't say this is true unless you live near a windmill.

also they decrease property value and sometimes cause health problems.
How do windmills cause health problems, exactly?

The maintenance cost is more than running a power plant

http://ontario-wind-resistance.org/ heres a site on a bunch of people that hate it,

by health issues I mean like nosebleeds and constant headaches that people experience after the windmills are placed.

http://www.windconcernsontario.ca/

the aren't constantly generating power either

edit: I live like near 50 windmills that were just placed in why would I be arguing about this if I didn't live near them

I don't think this is supposed to be fought over.

I think it should be a canadian discussion.

I don't think this is supposed to be fought over.
I think it should be a canadian discussion.
It's a discussion being argued over by canadians.

Again, what the hell are you on about? You're making no sense.
