If you weren't already planning on it, you should make it work with wrapperup's static shape mod thing (http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=266409.0)
Oh and in case you peeps didn't notice he released the original bedroom recently

Yeah. I'm working with the static shapes loader. I did play on his bedroom server as well.

so will this new "slopes" map be relatively endless like the original?

More as an attempt for sure. It can't got to badly to have this much complex geometry in one rendered frame.

since the slopes where infinite, how long would this take to be made op?

I have a question about this.

Since it will be impossible to properly have a working infinite loop of this, does it ever slope back down to the ground at the ends of itself?
I understand that for it to have looped realistically and seamlessly like before, there were no points where it went down all the way to the slate-ground and become flat so it could loop again.

How are you going to deal with that, will you be smoothing the edges and make them meet the ground at one point?

I'm debating this. It's taking a tad longer than expected, but I'm planing a few things. It's taking a lot longer than it should because of my own fault.

Personally I believe that you should slope the edges down to the ground and then smooth it since it can't repeat.

Logically this is the best way to go, I'm going to stick with this idea for now. Thanks for the support!

Due to the water, it'll be like an island if you do that, which is OK.

This is another problem that can be addressed in a few different ways. If you don't want ocean, don't have water in the first place. just leave that tiny lake empty. If the water is still desired but only in the lake, that means more work for me. I'm seeing If I could add my own additions to The Slopes to make it worth downloading. Like I previously stated, The Slopes are a lot smaller than I remember.

the lake area isnt at the division line though... i dont see how it would be a problem.
