The side effects of speed running are staggering

I'm actually curious, since family members of mine had blood clots, but how bad did the pain get?

I know but you can also get a pulmonary embolism from sitting too much.

You cant get a PE from sitting too muh, but you can get a clot in your leg which could then move to your lungs. If you are experiencing any pain from your leg, you should consider seeing a doctor.

The pain was intense and stabbing, it increased as time went on.

I think my doctors said that my medication doesnt actually have any side effects with vitamin K. I cant have ginseng though, because that literally makes my meds not work at all.

wtf is a blood clot
Blood in its normal form is free flowing. It consists of red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets, and plasma. Whenever you get a cut that bleeds, once the bleeding stops it is said that the injury has clotted. The blood will either harden up completely or take more of a goo-like, less free flowing form. Having blood clots form without and injury though is not normal. It will generally make a "ball" of blood at a location.

The problem is if the clot breaks free, it can travel up the vein. If a clot reaches the heart, it is fatal.

Hope you get better soon Dan.

Get better soon Gamefandan! :)

It's basically like being Iron Man, but not as cool.

Anyway, I hope it gets better and doesn't cause you any future issues in life. That's a real shame to have such an issue and be affected by it, particularly when you're so young.

Update: My doctor said my chest pains were actually due to extreme anxiety and I have been prescribed antidepressant/anti-anxiety medication and need to meet with a psychologist. So that's fun.

who will do poke snap streams now

I'm pretty sure I've been developing a blood clot in the bottom of my left foot, and around my head, outside of the skull.

Well speedrunning can get pretty depressing when you miss a record by a few milliseconds, but thats a little extreme to provide antidepressants for that.

If Dan doesn't make it, I guess he'll have to reset teh urn.

Seeing a lot of talk about speedrunning, I would like to continue playing as normal but there will clearly be changes now.
