I really don't care if people think I reached my learning capacity. I'm the one with my own brain, no one in Blockland really knows anything about me. All I did was comment that I was proud of my grade, because they were worse.
You can and should make them better though. Your transcript is a really important part of what college you get into.

Regardless of that. What's the point of life if you're not learning? While school tends to suck, especially general studies, learning as much as you can now will enable you to learn more about what you want to learn later.

too lazy to take another picture so here

OP, you are not going to get a good job with those grades and that mentality.
Sure, you are rising, but you shouldn't be proud at where they are. Study for tests, do your homework, and give a stuff about school because these 12 years of your life holds a long way with the other 65 years of your life.

That really doesn't give me a motivation to do better... Well, I think it's sort of obvious that I wont get a good job with those grades. I've been trying to stop procrastinating since September ( I started the last week of July).
I'm barely content with the progress I'm making, but I'm still worried about that F because I'm still not getting the Algebra/Geometry stuff (read previous post).

I respect your post, so don't the wrong idea.

Idk, what I would find more offensive personally is if I was getting a 2.2 GPA and people thought that was my best possible work.
Did I say he was doing his best right now? No. He could be or he could not be. What I was saying was that even if his best isnt straight A's he has every right to be proud of improving his grades.

well the bit about improving his grades was a tiny footnote at the bottom of his post
not everybody read that part, including me

Do you do homework? And if not, is it a part of your grade? Probably the easiest way to boost your GPA is just to start turning in homework assignments on time and getting easy 100%s put into the gradebook.

Also, if your weakness is writing, get classmates with stronger writing abilities to suggest improvements for work you've gotten returned.

Did you not read anything at all?

Actually, I believe I'm in the top 3 in my English class, which is weird.

my school doesnt do grades

You may want to consider going to a different school.

That's not something to me proud of

i could never live with myself if i got anything worse than a B.

Some people on these forums can come off as judgmental know-it-alls. If you're improving, then you're doing great. Keep up the improvement. School isn't about intelligence for the most part, it's about effort. If you have low grades it probably has nothing to do with how smart you are, so don't listen to anybody here telling you that you're stupid. Just keep working at it and improving.

C is for Compensation sometime's yknow

granted you could have amazing grades AND be a genius, but the underdog is more appealing, atleast for publicity.
