Author Topic: The 'Snappening' - Snapchat Hacked Finally  (Read 10622 times)

Well, you never have absolute security with anything you do on the internet. People mentally weigh the risks and make decisions. Obviously not everyone is tech-savvy, but using a third party snapchat app in the first place is a stupid decision. I don't have to worry about any of my snapchats being released in this leak because I'm not a dumbass, so I really don't pity the people who were dumbasses and do have to worry.

Since I haven't shared any richard pics on Snapchat, this doesn't bother me.
that makes one of us

Not even the slightest bit bothered tho.

Tox + Tox over Tor + Linux

Still not absolutely secure. If you had a virus that targeted Linux systems it could easily transfer conversations.

I meant a fresh install.

...still not absolutely secure? The mirror you downloaded Linux from could be compromised. There could be a zero-day exploit through the TOR network. There could be a zero-day exploit in Tox. There could be a zero-day in Linux itself and your IP could be on a list of vulnerable systems so the second you reinstall it'll just re-exploit.

Then check the source code and build it from the source yourself?

If only these could be used to arrest stoners

>tfw all you see on your snapchat list is nudes of ugly girls, and yet you send no pics
does anyone have the link to the archive?

As if you'd find a carefully hidden backdoor in a modified linux source code.

prepare for the 911 calls and upset parents yo

I don't understand why you would use snapchat to share nudes in the first place. and I'm not sure how easy it would be to convict someone for a snap of them using drugs. assuming anyone actually cared enough to try
who's gonna look through 100 thousand images anyway? nobody

Cause it disappears after >10 seconds and you know if they screenshot it. There's ways to save it but most people don't know that.

I know what snapchat is. if you don't want people to have nudes of you, just don't send them any
