>have to get to shelter/go shopping or something

In his defense I wouldn't drive my car in a hurricane either. I do appreciate it when I have to go shopping though, I really don't know what I'd do if I only had a motorcycle.

My dad was a paramedic in Chicago. He will never drive a motorcycle partly because of how many morons, with helmets on, had their skull smashed in or split open on like metal guard rails or the street itself, etc.

Sounds fun.

I'll keep the toyota camry in mind.

toyota corolla looks nice if you can get $900
also kia soul is really really nice, and you can save 2k by buying it

to add my dad rides a motorcycle, but he's really safe on it and wears a whole motorcycle jacket and helmet so it's fine

when riding you have to be constantly aware. I was driving my car the other day and some idiot girl almost hit me and she didnt even notice that she almost hit me

yea they're pretty nice cars
my mom has a 2011 honda accord that she got for ~$14k. Its nice the only bad thing is the road noise :/

get a toyota camry
^^^
my grandparents have one
it's super quiet inside the car and it's overall really comfortable
they got it lightly used for 18k (it's a 2007) so you might need to save up a bit more for a newer model

My trig teacher just got a 2013 Lexus IS. It's a pretty nice car but I don't know how much she is paying on it.

If I had sixteen grand, I'd buy a '96 Corvette and still have some dough leftover.

what does OP mean by GPS
built in, like on a touch screen?
