Just returned to blockland, I would like some answers

Hey guys its A_Ghost BL_ID 17937, and I just started playing blockland again after being off for a year.

Now I noticed that we are now on steam and I think its great! I hear alot of people play now and the community has not changed so much.
However I noticed RTB is down?
I relied on RTB on alot of things, keeping up with friends and addons and now it seems we have downgraded to the forums to rely on addons. Now I am not hating the forumes just enjoyed rtb. I hear that it was overly complicated or something?
and what about the developer giving up on future updates on the game?

I just am wondering if we are getting a Blockland workshop on steam and if any more updates will come out.
Also how can I get my steam account to verify me already owning Blockland?

And just in my opinion I have been playing this game since V11 and it went down the drain. The game if you ask me was at its peak before they dumped the maps for shaders that most people I know wont use. Load all the bricks you want on a sever and ill be fine but load shaders and my computer lags more than VTECH on a honda.

This game has made me so many memories that I wish I could relive but cannot. Also most of the really good modders stopped making mods all of a sudden? What do I look forward to with my current addons and future updates with them? I really want this game to feel like blockland again. If anybody could help me understand I would greatly appreciate it.

RTB was taken down because Ephialtes was dealing with other things in his life and he was sick of the lack of development going on for Blockland. In his terms he was "bored of putting more effort into the game than the guys who make it."

According to Badspot, there was a lot of drama between him and Ephialtes that went on behind the scenes.

rtb is gone because ephihowevertheforgetyouspelli t had a falling out with badspot over the lack of updates
maps slowed down updates a lot
"really good modders" are still around, and you can still use most old addons.
