Author Topic: "Hatred" Most likely the most edgiest game ever announced!  (Read 20358 times)

You could but anyone who skipped it was a goofus

i thought they made it so you could skip that or something
^
at the start of the game, they ask you if you want to play the stuff like that or just skip it.

wasn't there a CoD level where you shoot up an airport?
the entire point of that sequence was that it doesn't actually matter what you did, your inevitable betrayal and usage as a puppet was the goal, not the innocent killings.

Unlike Hatred, this is a fun CREATIVE way of killing innocent life. As long as its CREATIVE its ok :)))

It doesn't GLORIFY the deaths of the civilians in harsh, brutal ways.

And there seems more to that than just killing people as well.

I also can't tell if you're joking or not soooo

Sarcasm or not, the difference is that you arent a depressed little edge lord. This one you are controlling aliens/robots and humans arent even detailed.

So now the issue is the protagonist? There are countless games in which the protagonist is just as flimsy if not more so. The issue is that the humans aren't detailed? You're really scratching the barrel for moral backing.
Incidentally, remember Destroy All Humans? The game in which you massacred everything and everybody and it was comedic? And everyone loved that game?

Cus it was FUNE LOLE

Listen, richardhead.

This game isn't a loving retail disc game. It's going to be a digital download, which means it gets to escape the censors wrath since they can just self-rate the game, and Steam doesn't moderate, nor is responsible for that at all.

This game isn't "so violent". It pales in comparison to something like Manhunt. They aren't going to get law-suits either, since they've broken no laws and hurt no people.

The concept is stuffty, but this is a legitimate game that can and will be sold.
no stuff it won't be a retail disc game but that won't stop it from being sold in other countries. Plenty of governments have requested Steam, Origin, or wahtever you use, to remove certain games or modify them to comply with their laws. This doesn't affect all countries. These companies still have to abide by the wishes of a countries request or their product is banned within the country.
Not as violent as Manhunt huh? The difference is that manhunt had an objective and you weren't killing completely innocent people. Manhunt had a plot, this game shows nothing that follows a plot.
Legitimate game? sure. can and will be sold? sure, but expect a ton of controversey over it once it's released.

also get rid of stuff attitude.

And how many of those Governments are going through ever single individual game release on every platform? I've almost never heard of games from smaller companies like this one (practically an indie company) getting banned, regardless of the content.

I guess you can surmise that from exactly one trailer, hey?

And also, because the intent of Manhunt was different, that makes it less violent? I don't know about people in this forum, but I don't count violence in volume, but rather detail. Just murdering hundreds of pixels from the sky has nowhere near the effect of slowly killing an individual in rather gory way.

sure, but expect a ton of controversey over it once it's released.
From a bunch of old people who will ultimately do nothing, and a bunch of Tumblr twats who will yell about it for a couple days and then go back to bitching about trigger warnings.

The real complaints will be of the gameplay, methinks.

You brought the crappy attitude in the first place. Don't call people out like you're a loving forum hero, when your points are all disputable.

They're not going to go through it. People are going to hear about it, it's going to spread, it's going to go viral, like all games do. Then people are going to complain, and then stuff starts rolling. When GTA first came out, the producer of the game gave it bad press for the sole purpose of getting sales. Except today the internet does that for the game developers.

When the game starts off with a angsty brat talking about humans are worthless and deserve to die, that sure gives a great first impression. The intent of Manhunt was to escape and exact revenge on someone who basically manipulated and tortured you. The intent of this game is to kill innocent people. Both feature very graphic cinematic kill scenes, but one follows a moral compass of sorts. 'Hatred' does not.

The real complaints will be by more than just those people. When you responded to my original post you probably just read my last paragraph and took off from there. Read b4 you post.

Also show me where I brought this so-called crappy attitude in.

holy forget if i had a nickle for every time someone in the thread brought this up

the protagonist in this game is my waifu
original character do not steal
