So this is an idea for a story that I came up with a few nights ago based on recent events (Ebola). Any feedback or ideas is appreciated.
It is now 2019. The world is in a state of panic. They claimed to have "cured" it. But what happened? Nothing was cured. Nothing. It didn't destroy the virus, only allowed the humans to adapt to it! It just allowed them to live with the virus. They eventually became addicted, like something other than themselves depended on it, almost like it was empowering them, like it was making them mutate, making them stronger. But whatever was happening wasn't good at all. Oh no, no, no, it didn't cure them at all. They were becoming the virus. They were the virus. But the virus was never stopped, because it is unstoppable. And they will consume... until only they are left.
So what do you guys think? Is it a good idea? Is it very interesting? How could I make it more interesting and less like a typical zombie thingy?
