Author Topic: "couldn't write to cache database"  (Read 2198 times)

so I just started up blockland right now and joined Furdle's GTA
suddenly after it loaded up it shot an error at me
"SQLite Error"
and then it said it couldn't write to cache databse or cache.DB if I'm correct
so
this is basically terminating any possible connection to servers
and that's boring
halp

check if cache.db in your blockland directory is read only (right click on it)

godammit double post
so it's not read only

Delete it, see if that helps.

Also check if the entire folder isn't read only

alright I'll delete it when I get on my computer
I think it'll redownload so I'm not worried
also if Cache.db isn't read only, why would the folder be?

hey guess what I deleted cache.db and the blockland launcher won't even start

You must've done something more than just that, the cache.db being deleted wont effect anything major. Are you on Steam?

Post your console log.

If it never gets past the launcher, post your launcher.log.

okay so I deleted a bunch of random files that jammed up C: drive (no space) and blockland works fine
what the hell

Blockland would have a hard time writing files if you hard drive was full. This would explain why it wasn't working.

ah
okay thanks everyone
Jeez, I feel like an idiot when I make help topics
