Right click unequips weapon?

Its been an ongoing problem. Whenever I try to mount or ads by right clicking my gun gets unequipped, for example this happens with guns like the OSR, and many Quake weapons. But for some reason it doesn't happen when I play single player, or when I host an server and I'm the only one there. But as soon as a player joins it doesn't. I've been ignoring this for quite some time now and I just avoid using them weapons all together but its really been bugging players who play my games and I just wanted to know if anyone's ever come across this problem in the past and has been able to fix it. Maybe possible known addons that cause this top happen?

what do you mean by unequip? like it puts it away or you drop it on the ground?

It just puts it away. And the weapon/tool panel scrolls back up as well

Try resewing your controls

I don't think that's the problem. I've played bl on 3 different computers in the past year or so and the result is always the same. I think it might be an add-on I have. But i don't know which one.

so try disabling half your addons, figure out which half it's in, then test the group with the problems by splitting that in half again, and so on

well with the OSR it might be that you're using a playertype with more slots then normal, which confuses the rifle because it expects you to only have five

with quake type weapons i dont know. i deliberately didn't give them alt fires (excluding the twin bayonets, which don't work in a way that it would mess with playertypes anyway) in order to work around this sort of thing

Alright thank you, ill check it out, because I always use 9 slot player in mostly all my servers, so maybe that really might be the problem

Yup that's exactly what it was. Thank you so much, but do you know if there's a way to still use 9-slot player and have right click work?

Is there more than one multi-slot player types made by different people? Maybe theirs might work.

no, the issue is that the playertype has more then 5 slots at all

Don't you need a support addon called Support_InventorySlots?

Be sure to have it installed and maybe redownload it.
