Author Topic: What good books have you read?  (Read 1979 times)

The Moon is a Harsh Mistress by Robert A. Heinlein, City of Ember by Jeanne DuPrau, Brave New World by Aldous huxley, The Roar by Emma Clayton, and Ender in Exile by Orson Scott Card. I never read a book I don't own.

1984
I'm not done with it yet, but The Foundation is pretty good

Jennifer Egan's A Visit From the Goon Squad

I stopped reading when my family stepped out of their 2001 mindset.

the great gatsby. it's a masterpiece.

Harry Potter Series (I mean come on)
Ender's Game Series
Ender's Shadow Series (much better than the last 3 books of the Game series)
A Song of Ice and Fire

Things I read when I was younger that don't appeal to me now:

This Book is Not Good For You Series
Leviathan Series
Warriors Series

Fff-I was going to say that. I've read the first part of the Lighting Thief, and it was pretty decent until it branched off into the other series which I disliked. I've read plenty of other things I can't recall at the moment.

The Hunt for the Red October

I'm kidding, of course, I recently read Enigma by Robert Harris.

Among the Hidden and the rest of the shadow children series
