Author Topic: My sister is illegally holding alcohol  (Read 35639 times)

It does indeed have effects on your mental state if you do drink. In fact it can even kill you neurologically if liver and kidneys are doing okay. It could cause memory loss and coma.
Ok so many thing wrong with this post. First of, you can't be killed neurologically, you can be killed. If i was shot, it wouldn't be: "Machaty's body was killed!" I would be killed. Second, what your referring to is alcohol corroding the brain. That takes years and years to happen. It's not something that happens because you had a little bit of wine. And third, stop saying "mental state". That phrase doesn't accurately describe what your trying  to say.

But early drinking can lead to alcohol addiction later on in life, which would contribute to brain corrosion.

Why would you tell anyone? Let her do what she wants.
Because she's trying to blackmail him. That's a richard move and more than justifies telling her parents.

drink it all before she can get drunk

"sister i dont think its a good idea for you to start drinking at 14 im going to tell mom and dad"
"stop trying to enforce your will on me you starfish tyrant"

exactly

if you otherwise live a black and white sheep-follower life you are a tool
So I'm not supposed to live my life according to the law, nor should I live according to utilitarian principles, that pretty much leaves not hurting others, but aren't you too capitalist for that?

capitalist is not even an ideology...

"how dare you abide by the law! loving sheep!"

I think he intended more of, "How dare you abide by a law that I don't like."

op is in no situation to judge his sisters health by a single little canteen, so hes all about the selfish attitude trying to power over others. so hes just being an starfish.
She is a minor. She can't possess alcohol because she is underage.

Why do people think im a starfish when im just concerned for my sister?

Wait, if you were going to tell on her why didn't you just do so?
That way you wouldn't be "blackmailed" in the first place.

She is a minor. She can't possess alcohol because she is underage.

I don't get why people think im a starfish when im just concerned for my sister?

because you showed no concern at all. you just want to police her.
you said so right there.

I didn't say I wanted to take action at all. You seem to think that letting familly memebers off the hook for breaking the law is ok.

Maybe you shouldn't tattle tale on your sister and let her get caught herself.

Don't be a snitch. You'll piss off your sister and when you need favors in the future when she can be plausibly richer than you, you won't get anything from her and anything in her will.

You seem to think that letting familly memebers off the hook for breaking the law is ok.
um
if she isnt really hurting anyone
is it really that bad??
