Hey man, 1 drip of booze doesn't make you go outside and play in traffic
But so far from what the OP has told us, it isn't just "1 drip of booze". Its multiple, and not just drips.

if catholic school girls make the best sluts on earth.
then ultra repressed and misinformed OP here will become a giant alcoholic someday :D

also cuz i really wanted to post this somewhere ill do it here cuz this topic is gaytarded anyways.
im taking a loveual harassment and equal opportunity quiz that HR emailed us.

That's not what I mean.

Typical

Allowing children to harm themselves is morally wrong, which is why I think the parents should know about it.

You do realize that the toxicity of alcohol to the development of children is negligible except in cases of regular consumption or semi-frequent binge drinking periods, right? Unless this girl is drinking 2+ glasses a night or getting stufffaced every other week, you won't be able to tell a difference on a brain scan, let alone in her thought process or actions.

Well of course. But OP never shared how often this happens, and if she realizes she's safe from being discovered, she'll probably start craving it more (addictive effects slowly kicking in). And since she is apparently hiding it in her room and is getting her supplies straight out of her own house, it very well could be happening at any time. I'm pretty sure that Damp also said that she is doing it while she's out with her friends, not just at home.

I don't know about you guys, but I have more than a hunch that she is getting into more than just wine.

Apparently she's drinking just enough wine that her parents are noticing something weird but not enough that they actually suspect any wrongdoing. Of course this depends on how much they drink, but I would say that if her consumption was even 1/4 of their consumption they would notice something off. So assuming they drink 2 glasses a day each (it's a generous estimate, not a lot of people drink 2 glasses every day) then she would be drinking 1 glass per day, on average, which wouldn't be enough to damage her unless they were aggregated into drinking sessions once every week where she could consume 7 glasses of wine at once. I don't know if you've ever tried to drink 7 glasses of wine in one night, but even to a trained tongue that's a challenge. So let's split it and say 3.5 glasses twice a week, which would be good enough to get a good buzz going but not usually enough to be considered 'drunk' even to a small 14 year old girl. If she kept this habit up until she turned 18, her brain development would deviate from normal but due to brain plasticity there probably wouldn't be too much of a notable effect. I agree that this generous scenario would be detrimental to her health, but consuming 1/4 of her parents total liquor supply for the next 4 years would be a rather unattainable goal.

tl;dr please
She's not gonna grow up handicapped from drinking her parents alcohol because to drink enough alcohol frequently enough to hurt her, her parents would notice that all their alcohol is gone.

ok thanks
i still don't get it

First of all, how am I saying that harm has no brain? I never said that or implied it. Remotely. Second of all, since when did drinking ever become a priority in anyone's life except an alcoholics? Drinking isn't strange, or abnormal. Younger teenagers in Europe have wine occasionally, so what's so wrong with have a beer or two? As long as you have control over it it's actually a good thing, it teaches you to manage yourself with alcohol for when you become an adult.

He should still tell her parents, and her parents should punish her.
Stealing not okay
Underage drinking not okay
Remember when we had morals?

I wouldn't mind bumping the legal drinking age to 18. Age 16 is a bit borderline, a long time ago that age would have been considered an adult. We might need to redefine what is a legal adult considering that some people mature faster than others. I'll let the doctors and scientists decide that one. However, the law is the law and that doesn't change the fact that she still stole wine and threatened to black mail the op.
