EAS stands for Emergency Alert System, by the way.

It's a 3 parter, so for those TL;DRers:
A virus which causes increased aggression and other symptoms leaks out into a unknown source (Not telling ending due to spoilers), and it spreads throughout almost all countries.

It's not all EAS, it has some fake news, and REAL VOICE ACTING??? Well, it's only for like a few characters, but you don't see THAT everyday.

Anyways, lemme know what you think. I enjoyed watching it.

EAS alerts are terrifying to begin with

I heard that world of warcraft has been used to model the spread of infections before

but did madagascar get it

Unintentionally, but yes.

We don't know what they have in the code. They could have "viruses" that don't actually affect gameplay at all, but spreads like a virus would.

forget wait this is the wrong one. i saw a really good one a while back. It was on BBC, news got interrupted, showed the nukes exploding after EAS for like a few minutes. Can't find it now for whatever reason.

You're uninformed, it was a debuff that, through a game bug, was able to spread beyond it's dungeon into the outside world. It discontented higher level players but it's high DPS demolished starting characters. It spread to those in close vicinity of the people who had the debuff.

It was totally unintentional and Blizzard admitted they made a big mistake in letting it occur.

No, I know what happened. My point is that even though that one was a mistake, there might have been other simulations done that didn't have any visible effects on the characters. I do admit it's pure speculation though, and the likelyhood of it being true is slim to none.

How can it be used to accurately model the spread of infections if nobody ever realizes anyone anywhere is infected. That's asinine.

There are tons of diseases that can be spread before symptoms appear
