Author Topic: MapleStory - pixelated MMORPG that OP appears to love  (Read 1154 times)

MapleStory is a 2D, side scrolling MMORPG by Nexon, which has existed for several years, with several updates, class additions, and other items.

I can't really make a megathread for this ATM, haven't done enough research, but for now, this will be a area to post what servers you play on, usernames, etc.

Player List [bl forum name - servers - usernames (in order of server, will be seperated by server name)]:
None at the moment (haven't made my new char yet)

I tried this, but didn't play it that long enough to get a kick out of it so I uninstalled the game.

Played it, saw it was a boring loving grindfest and uninstalled

still waiting for a localized maplestory 2 alpha

this game looks really appealing but the truth is that it's just not that good

it stops being fun at lv30 or so. all you do is grind. still played it a lot though, but all i really did after a while was just tour the maple world at lv93

it's a shame because it looks so great, has a lot of good concepts, but ends up executing them in a way that makes the entire game pretty meh

It's really hard for me to get into it because of all the grinding, but I had some fun as a pirate or whatever for a while.

Played this for days back when i was younger. Now i can't really play it longer than a day.

it's just not fun anymore

i'm bored so i'll try this out
i haven't really played any MMORPG in a while, so i might as well start back up again with this

I stopped playing after getting to level 120+ on my main. It gets WAY to grindy at that point, to where it takes a few hours just to level up.

However, what I did like about the game was that its not Pay2Win

fun with friends, absolutely pointless without

got bored of the Super Grindfest 64 and quit playing

Aran best class

actually, you can buy double/triple EXP items to make the process of leveling up much quicker, so...meh
