Author Topic: setAxis events-Adjust vehicle rotation!  (Read 1163 times)

I'm doing a little evented rocket-launch thing and this would be nice for it. I need the rocket to stand up 90 degrees.

So basically, just an event that allows you to adjust the X, Y, and Z rotation on a vehicle.

Example event:
                                                     X      Y      Z
onVehicleSpawn->Vehicle->setAxis->[90] [000] [000]

Other uses I thought of:
Car dealerships-set angle in a diagonal (wedge bricks) showcase
Diagonal Garages

Yes please, also the following outputs:
applyRotation [-180<x<180] [-180<x<180] [-180<x<180] where it would apply an adjustment to the current rotation.
addRelativeVelocity (Same things for players, except for vehicles.)

And make a plane circle a point and fire like a gunship at enemies.

Likewise, having vehicles spawn projectiles relative to their rotation and velocity would be nice.


I don't want to sound like all I'm doing is begging for this to be made (even though I probably sound like it), this is a great idea that could power many other great ideas.  I doubt it would be a lot of work to script, but it would be one of the rare gems that the Add-Ons of 2014 need.

This would be amazing for self-driving vehicles.

That and scenic vehicle spawning. Like diagonal parking or something.
