I thought youtube already did 60fps

they did a preview a month or two ago.

if people can't realize the whole "30 fps is more cinematic" thing was just an excuse for consoles being locked at low framerates.. i dunno what to tell you

i mean look at that stuff, 60fps is noticeably different.

i've already whined about this, in any case, now my friends can't complain as much about let's plays.

IIRC, they had 60FPS videos, but they hadn't enabled uploading for the public (it was only for certain videos like a Titanfall trailer).

60 is a bare minimum nowadays. its nice youtube can get on board. and in a year 120/144hz will be outdated, since it basically already is.
sheesh

frankieonpc 4k 60fps video ; ; so beautiful

It only seems to work with chrome for the time being.
It seemed that way, but it's not true. Safari supports the 60fps videos, too.

yiss but uh our eyes only see in 24 fps so how can 60fps be real if our eyes aren't real

Only for like 3 videos.

if your old video with 60fps was uploaded before they let everyone have it, you can re-process it by going to enhancements -> save without doing anything else (unless you need to) and it'll be in 60fps

like my glorious aiming abilities

don't do that
