Author Topic: Ubisoft misrepresented the graphical prowess of AC: Unity, surprising nobody.  (Read 1663 times)

Their track record continues its downward spiral into the sewers, and the lackluster hardware in "next-gen" consoles somehow disappoints even more than we thought possible.

I'd embed the images here for convenience, but they're live comparisons.

they even want to make 30 fps a standard
ubisoft what the forget are you doing

Well considering you're comparison is PC vs console, I'm going to call a bit of bullstuff for now. I guess we'll just have to see.

I'm pretty sure it'll be the same ordeal as watch dogs

Those shots are from the teaser at the Sony E32014 press conference. Even if it was running on a PC, it's disingenuous to present it as PS4.

again exemplifying that material specifically engineered to market a game is not a good testament to the quality of the end product a fair amount of the time

and that e3 awards are buttpoop unless people actually get to try something out

need there be any more proof that nintendo absolutely dominated e3

Except they didn't.

Not going to completely defend Unity, but the gameplay I've touched so far was good enough to excuse the graphics...that said, the demo I played/watched looked far better than this.

Not a single video game has gotten hair right.

Lara Croft and Alice: Madness Returns have both got individual hair strands with physics, but at the end of the day almost all hair looks plasticy because of the lighting.

The Ballroom is the only thing that looks the same sans post-production motion blur.
