Author Topic: Being Friendly to New Players  (Read 7248 times)

Clans would help keep new players, joining ScatteredSpace is what really got me into the game.

edgy
If you think that's edgy you shouldn't experience America

Some new players are nice, i got nice talks with some of them, but i admit like, 50% are also dumb as hell. Its annoying when they build epic stuff and become agressive when i say them i wont keep it...

They should at least complete the tutorial first. It's completely their fault if they come blazing into a server without even knowing how to walk forwards.

Well since they don't see it at first...

I also think in the next update the Tutorial button should be brought back.

maybe when the game starts for the first time it should prompt

You have not played the tutorial would you like to now? (recommended)

yes                     no

I could probably make this and send it to badspot, 0 coding for him all he has to do is add it in the next update. but i doubt that'd happen so why bother

blockheads in general need more of a chance

i run an alt blockhead just for the sake of dming
but he usually hops aboard various servers

usually he receives a ban from new players for reason: noob; seemingly ironic
which just builds upon the fact that these new incoming players might not have any sense of mercy toward our beloved blockheads

everyone at one point has been a blockhead after all

i hate it when players are mean to the new ones
i think that OP is just an starfish

I don't get the 2nd and 3rd part.

blockhead alt as in I have empirical experience under that name

the name receives bad rep from newer hosts that dismiss a blockhead as worthless
along with prejudiced views on a player's id

This makes sense.

Ah, I see.

Also why do you put spaces after your posts?
