Being Friendly to New Players

something that i find worse than neglecting somebody because of there lack of experience is when people with low ID's get special treatment for just being on the game for a few years.

I always try to be as friendly as possible. Even try to help them out, and many are really nice too :)

I agree that everyone should be friendly to new players. Everyone who plays blockland used to be a newbie. So why can't they be kind to new players?

Im completely fine with new guys, but sometimes they seemingly never listen when they do something rather annoying. I understand its new for them, but sometimes we need to learn that they will learn like us!

Whenever new guys jump on my server, I just let them do whatever they want. Sometimes I play along with what they're doing.

I saw Carbon and Kenko help out a new player on the staticmaps freebuild, it helped me restore faith in humanity

i had such an experience once, also on kenko's server, but it went a bit differently
the guy wouldn't understand anything i tried to tell him, at all

eventually he just got bored and left

being new does not mean they can do what they want
if they are really that bad, then do what you would do with a normal player.

I remember the first server I went on. Some person told me how to install add-ons and to get RTB (before it kicked the bucket). Good times
