The deepweb is alright, but back in High School the main use for Tor was to get Halo:Gilroy (a very awesome custom version of Halo that installed to the temp files, and had a few custom maps) and Facebook running after the various blocks put up by the IT guys.

The best bit is we were playing Halo: Gilroy in the IT class, with the IT teacher right there watching us, not giving a stuff.

Albeit I liked that one website where it consisted of weirdos trying to make up US conspiracy theories on an hourly basis.
That's because it likely is, proper hackers wouldn't jerk their richard in front of you.

I've tried to use tor on our school's stuffty Macs to access websites but it always says that a copy of Firefox is already running.

It's not something I'd ever use. I believe the stories, I don't have to go see it for myself. It's not something I'd want to invite into my life either. These people can be pretty sub-human. It's some pretty grim stuff and it's not worth it just for the sake of being edgy.

And yeah I don't have any other use for it either. I'm not a creep and I'm not a drug addict. So there's no real point in getting my hands dirty.
