IS2/3 is a more viable option for tank destroying

unless you want to destroy a fortification or a house or whatever, use 152mm.

You would need an insanely good understanding of wind patterns and physics in order to be able to hit a target with any form of accuracy with that thing
Like, if you just straight up aimed directly at your target with perfect accuracy you could be upwards of a mile+ off target
