Holy stuff theres an update.

Heres whats going down, we make actually be in the 'in-production' phase rather than the 'pre-production' phase. Scary, I know.

With the release of trooper's death star (though the other is good, his has a lot of interior work I like) and the notion that I have begun construction on a to scale model of the millenium falcon, and the success of Warren's x-wing and tie-fighter mods, people may enjoy this movie.

Now note, we are still very short on production hands. You could also call this a bump post to get some people to sign on to the project. We need writers, actors, and voice actors. Pretty much everything else is taken care of. I'd like to ask the members of PPT(which I am now a member of) and PUI (also a member of) to see if theres anything you can do. I know that Dr. Bling was asking me if my Decals could be used with his mod. Well they can, If he contributes in any shape or form! Please, I need writers and modders bad! Without them, we can't even get a teaser trailer out.

So with that in mind, I have two more question to ask of the already joined members of the project:

1. Should we shoot it 16:9 widescreen?

2. Should it be feature length (99 or more mins runtime)?

I'll leave you to ponder that...

Thats just a given, you actually thought we were going to remake star wars? That would be hard as stuff.

i think a movie (any movie) would be best made if you just re-filmed OVER the soundtrack of the original movie itself.
and since its to much work and boringness-watching for the whole 2 hour movie, just have the best scenes.
at least we don't have to hear terrible sounding recordings of 13 year old prepubescent boys' voices.

the added humor would have to be visual.

Well luckily we're not 13 year old prepubescent boys, because, you're gonna have to deal with the voice overs. Don't worry though, you voice has to be a certain pitch or we won't let them in. Unless the character calls for it. Trust us, we're not making a crappy movie like most forumers have made. Surprisingly we've studied a lot of film in our 15 years of life, and have gotten pretty good at it. So our movie will be like some of the better Halo movies, or such, the only thing you'll have to worry about is if you like our sense of humor or not...

And a movie made to the entire soundtrack of the original? Thats noobish, even with visual humor. We're trying to spoof something, not recreate it.

And considering the lack of support (uh-hem... bisjac...) we're getting on this film, you're probably in. Me and Warren have started the script and have gotten all the way to the Obi wan meets Luke scene. Either you can wait until its done to pitch jokes, or you can write something now either before or after that scene, and if its good it will be rewritten to fit that joke you come up with.

Anyway, I guess you can. Seeing as your Scottish the only real character I could see you doing is Obi-Wan, but his role is taken. If you could settle for a small part such as a Rebel Trooper or a Stormtrooper, then that's fine. If you want to be a main character, send me a file of your voice to see what character you fit well, unless you have one in mind.
