Basically, it would be a gravity gun of sorts. By typing a /cmd (ex. /flail) a mace ball vehicle would be spawned at your position. Click the mace ball and it will lock to your mace handle - swing it to attack.
Feedback please. :D

why a mace ball vehicle and not a weapon?

A vehicle will allow physics, and a chain particle would give even more realism to the weapon. A normal item would be stiff and unlike a real flail.

Maybe have a mount point in script - closed until you open it :D

How you are going to connect a vehicle to a weapon with cloth physics without engine changes?

Gravity gun - except with a particle that looks like a chain, and maybe a wand as the model instead of a printer.

This actually sounds feasible!

Maybe holding a ball at the same position relative to the player, sounds like a great flail to me.

I don't think Torque Physics could keep up with that idea (vehicle and a weapon), especially if it will be colliding with players a lot.

Once I get back to my Blockland computer, I'll see about making that particle.
Meanwhile, if anybody is willing to model the ball for me (I don't have a modeling program), I'd appreciate it very much. :)
