so a while ago my cat had about 4 kittens

yesterday, one of our favorite ones died due to cold and suffocation because all three piled on him (which is odd because they've done that all their lives with him and nothing bad has happened)

now, another kitten is dehydrated and a little cold

my grandmother refused to do anything except for making the kitten drink a little bit of water.

after she made him drink the water, he just got more limp and it seems like he has a hard time just keeping his mouth shut

i'm just wondering if anybody knows what to do, i've already looked it up on the internet and all i got were things i cant do

died due to cold and suffocation because all three piled on him
holy stuff
my condolences

Is mother still feeding them?

try to keep them warm, if he is dehydrated just keep giving him water.

Also, how old are they in weeks?

Is mother still feeding them?
that, i can't really tell to be honest

im pretty sure she is, but apparently not. however, the other two are still up and healthy since they're still kind-of wobbling around walking and meowing

they're about 3-4 and a half weeks

also, he's gone. within the few minutes that i posted this we found him lifeless with the other kittens. my grandma's wanting to get the last two remaining kittens to start eating canned food now since we're worried my cat's gonna stop taking care of them even more.

and it doesn't help that the colder seasons are coming

Jesus christ, this is the most horrifying thing I've heard all day.

I hope the final two will be okay :c

Call the ASPCA. If your grandmother is neglecting and abusing them, the best thing for the cats is to have them cared for by someone who knows what they're doing/actually loves those cats.

There's some advice on weaning your kittens here.

But be careful with them. Don't take them fully away from mother yet, they still need to learn from her.

And it's sad to hear the other kitten didn't make it.
That's an unlucky turn of events. I hope the other two are strong and grow well, however.

Better alternative, kill your grandmother and hoard cats for the rest of your life

This. It happened to one of my cats I got from the rescue center, and she is not capable of washing herself, but learned it from my other cat I believe.

thanks for the advice, we've been trying to keep the mother in the same room as the kittens by pretty much closing the door

plus, like said before, we have been trying to get them some moistened canned food, and the little two seem to have been nibbling it a little

also thanks again, i hope so too
