Author Topic: dxtory is kill. How fix?  (Read 1154 times)

DXtory is the only program that has the options for recording games that I want. However it refuses to work properly on my computer. While I'm recording everything goes fine but when I  look back on the recording it's completely ruined. The video only shows one frame and never updates while the audio plays for a few seconds then cuts out. Here is a screenshot of all my settings

And yes I have the full version. This is the free trial version or whatever.

Re-install it?
If that doesn't work go with something like shadowplay or obs

I don't have an nvidia card. I need something that you can lower the game volume in the recording software while my mic stays the same (I don't want to turn down the volume in game because it ruins the whole point of games with an immersive atmosphere).

OBS can do that.

It doesn't appear to do fullscreen games.
It does that as well. Just alt+tab out and set up a game capture for whatever game you want, then click "start streaming/recording"

Well I got OBS working but there is a problem, the piece of stuff is skipping frames all the loving time in playback whereas I am getting ZERO framedrop in game even when recording.  Is there a way to fix this and is there a way to possibly fix the video i recorded that has the framedrop?

you guys praise obs so much but it's not really not even that good..
