It would be much simpler to have somebody come by and check every day whether the line had started yet. As long as they don't mind being the 5th or 6th person in line instead of 1st.

NO. THEY HAVE TO BE THE FIRST.

being in front of the line is Self Delete. people will trample all over you and there's nothing you can do about it except run really fast but i think that chance is already taken away once it starts
