My list of games that run well on stuffty PCs is

Fallout 1, 2, & Tactics

Doom 1 & 2 (Extremely moddable)

Killing floor

STALKER Series (it ran pretty well on my stuffty laptop i got all the way to the end on CoP)

GTA 3, VC, and SA

Deus Ex

Half life (i could run HL2 and source games pretty well on my laptop but not well enough to really recommend them)

GTA:SA isn't really that fun. the only servers in SA:MP are eastern european.
