Author Topic: What is your stance on abortion? (Abortion discussion)  (Read 42662 times)

Whether it IS or ISN'T human is a handicapped discussion to begin with. As soon as the sperm penetrates the wall of the egg, a child is created, no matter how "young" or "underdeveloped" it may be.
If you can 100% prove to me that the fetus once contracepted is a child within the first week of pregnancy, without biased articles and nothing but pure biology and science, I will redact everything I've said, and call myself a moron in front of the whole forum.

Holy stuff are you guys incapable of having a debate without calling each other braindeads?

(Jubel's right though, if it doesn't even have a brain yet it's not a separate organism. As for the "potential" argument, invent a time machine and then we'll talk, otherwise something's possible future is completely irrelevant to what we're doing now. )

Is this really the argument? Whether or not a fetus is a human child?

Jesus you people are stupid.

Okay, no, forget you. You have been wrong about countless things in this thread. Your entire argument revolves around this forgeted up delusional idea of human value that you can't define or justify. You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about at all. Your logic implies a loving zygote is able to breath and think and feel pain but you're wrong about all these things. You're a delusional emotional romantic ignoramus who can't tell the difference between a blastocyst and an adult male. There is nothing "progressive" about saying 'it's technically a lump of cells', because we've known that it is for a long time. Pro-tip, just because it's 'going to become a child' doesn't mean it is a child.

You're right. At one point we all developed from a fetus. So what? The fetus came from a zygote. Which came from a sperm. Which means that every sperm has the potential to be a baby. Which means masturbating is Flash Mob. See why you need to stop saying this stupid stuff? You're right, if we didn't live in an already horrifically over-populated starving world, it would be a waste. But it's not murder, goddamnit.

You're argument, literally, is that it doesn't look like a fully developed human so it isn't a human at all. You're completely ignoring all of biology. And you call me braindead? Okay bud.

>implying you know a single thing about biology
You've proven time and time again in this thread that you have a political/scientific background knowledge of absolute 0. So drop that noise altogether.

But abortion is not a natural thing. What is your point?

You know what else isn't natural? Communicating with other people through a photon emitting screen via electrons moving through massive copper cables that connect people on opposite sides of the world. We can play this game all we want buddy.

Whether it IS or ISN'T human is a handicapped discussion to begin with.

Are you kidding me?

Is this really the argument? Whether or not a fetus is a human child?

Of course it's human, but not a separate human.

Is this really the argument? Whether or not a fetus is a human child?
Seems to me you can't find anything stating that then.

You're wrong.

OKAY BUD. LOOKS LIKE Y'ALL JUST WANT TO READ WHAT YOU WANT TO READ! I HAVE MADE FAR MORE REASONABLE ARGUMENTS THAN YOUR ANTI-BIOLOGY ASSES. FIGHT ME.

Okay. Your entire argument is literally that. I don't have to find it, because it's everywhere.

Bring something up then unbiased and proven by science.

Caps lock? Looks like we have a winner.
(Also, he's allowed to use your lack of proof as an argument. You're the one claiming something is conscious/aware/etc, burden of proof is always on affirmative.)

What next, guys? GMO?

There's really no argument to be had. Whether or not someone has an abortion doesn't affect your everyday life. Sure, maybe that person is your future wife, but have it with her; not some anonymous stranger on the internet.

When a sperm and egg combine, a fetus or whatever the forget you wanna call it is formed.
This is a child. It doesn't matter how young or underdeveloped it may be, it's still a loving kid.

The abortion process should be left between the mother and father to decide as a couple, or in the case that the female was raped, she has full power over what comes out of her body, since she didn't get to choose what went in to begin with.

When a sperm and egg combine, a fetus or whatever the forget you wanna call it is formed.
This is a child.
Prove it beyond it being a zygote.

Whatever the forget you wanna call it
If you can prove that the zygote right after formation is a living breathing human being, i will eat a cactus in a livestream and post it onto youtube.

Your 'reasonable arguments' equate tiny insignificant parasitical cells to living, breathing humans just because they have the potential to become one. If I dump a bunch of milk and rocksalt into a bucket, I have what could potentially become ice cream, but I don't have loving ice cream do I?

Yep, there it is. A child. It kinda looks a little different from my younger cousins...
