Author Topic: What is your stance on abortion? (Abortion discussion)  (Read 42396 times)

Posting here again to point out something I'm sure everyone just missed.
I actually addressed this in one of my posts.

It's called sarcasm, you twat.
It's called a Strawman, and it's the stupidest thing anyone could do. You're just ignoring everyone else's statements, just as you're claiming we do. You're a hypocrite, moron, and downright delusional boy. Simple as that.

And after some time, fetuses can feel pain in the majority of their body after some time, but I forgot how long.
If you can make it up in your head, you'll post it in no time.

26 weeks. The latest you can get an abortion under any circumstance is 24 weeks, that's only some areas in the United States and accounts for less than 1% of abortions. Elsewhere it's usually 18 weeks latest. There is no legal abortion procedure where the fetus feels pain.

Rarely in Canada will doctors perform after 20 weeks. You need to do it before the 12th has passed.

I think my brown townogy crashed Derontchi's data processors and he's stuck recurring on his previous argument.

Using repetition to sell an idea works on TV ads and billboards, not logical arguments Derontchi.
Your two arguments:

1. Fetuses are not fully-grown humans and are still dependent on their mothers so kill them all!

2. Derontchi is delusional (no backup evidence).

Your two arguments:

1. Strawman

2. A fetus is basically the same thing as a child because I said so

ITT: the majority has moved on to cheese or australian tv, one is stuck on loop and/or trolling and another is trying to revive a dead argument

ITT: I get sniped by 7 new replies

so they can go out and get jobs and contribute to society?
what?

2. Derontchi is delusional (no backup evidence).

Whether or not you are, it doesn't matter, just nice to make a joke every few posts instead of constantly being serious

I'm sorry, there are so many posts I can barely keep up. Sorry.

*This in itself is a delusion.

But what about circumstances where one life that is not developed would overrule a life that is developed? Surely the life that is developed should survive, as it would have more chance of continuing on to produce more life eventually?
As many said pages back, this is not a black-and-white issue.  However, we must go back to the issue of survival and reproduction, (I inconveniently left advancement out of the picture) if you are speaking of disability, then it comes down to a scenario.  In what case would these two, the more developed and the less developed compete for the right to life.

No, a fetus is a child.

And to get to the point where it can feel pain, it must first survive. Is it living then? If the mother kills it off before, it will never get the chance to be by your standards of what's "living", which is still bad.

Note, no one is obligated to agree with me, but whatever your stance is, please try to show some respect.  I will not disrespect you unless you disrespect me.

That being said, McJob, I look forward to continuing thus discussion in mutual respect, if you can agree to my request as reasonable.
