i will never understand cats

so my kitten is in the sink and i figure i'd turn the water on a slight trickle
so he looks at it a bit, then decides to fling himself off the sink and run as fast as forget out of the kitchen
please note the sink was already wet and he got no drop of water on his fur from the faucet
so he comes back in and i walk towards him, he jumps on my leg, hisses, then runs out of the kitchen
the forget just happened

I've found my cat in the bathtub several times, usually when my sister doesn't give him fresh water so he licks the floor of the tub. If I turn the faucet on, he just leaps out and acts like nothing happened.

Just last week my dad brought back some really nice expensive rugs from turkey, and my cat has already tried to scratch up the one in my room.

My cats would more than likely piss on an expensive rug than scratch it up.

Although they do scratch up my dads fancy new armchair, which he's very proud of.

Oh, my other cat used to piss on expensive rugs, but not any more. They both scratch up furniture like crazy though. For some reason they always seem to stay away from this one couch from the 1910s or 20s that we've pretty much always had. We love them anyway though, they're good cats.
