Your details are just rumour and hearsay though at the moment.
You yourself aren't a forensic investigator or detective.
The event may or may not have happened (and it may be more likely that it did happen), but you don't get the final say on what happened, nor whether what happened was rape.
That's a matter for the courts to decide.
There's understandably an emotional side from your view, since this is a situation in your school and community, affecting your peers. So of course you're more shocked and emotionally involved with the case.
But ultimately it's not right to proclaim someone as definitely being a rapist before he's even been tried on the charge of rape, let alone convicted.
