Author Topic: "Poll: Should officer Darren Wilson, who shot Michael Brown, be arrested?"  (Read 69708 times)

so you are saying that brown didn't punch the officer? the bruises just appeared out of thin air?
im saying that even if that small bruise that was caused by a huge kid like mike, shooting the kid 6 times is just going overboard and leads many to believe that other factors, such as racial prejudice, led to his decision to be so brutal

even if it was just spur of the moment anger, that is extremely unprofessional and it costed a life

one shot could've done the same, if i'm understanding what you're saying here.

the first couple of shots were not deadly and probably would have stopped the kid even though they were unnecessary. the killing shots to the head as he was falling, however, were unnecessary

and also for a bit more proof that there are a lot of racially motivated police killings:

you think 1 9mm bullet would stop a big guy like michael

Um
Those are just the ones that make the news, keep in mind that people of all types get shot down.

It's his second term. Besides, what do you want him to do? I don't think there's anything he could directly do.
Let me get this straight. So, he can reform a bill on immigration (that will involve 4 million illegal immigrants) on his own volition but he can't do stuff about this?

that cop would have shot the child if he was black, white, or mexican.

the difference probably fake and not fake could have gotten that officer and innocents around him killed.

if not the first couple of non-fatal shots, then other methods (maybe waiting and tracking him down after he ran away, catching up to him and tazing him, etc.) probably would have worked on him.

dailymail is a tabloid, not a serious news source
but it is very much a true event, and i mean i can post even more but there is an absolutely startling trend of shooting black people for what most white people could get away with. for example: toy gun holders being shot whereas real gun holders dont even get a 911 call most of the time. at least for the states these took place in, but yeah.

I never said it wasn't real, I just said that its what made the news. Guns being pointed at people over fake guns isn't all that uncommon, I'm not sure about pulling the trigger though.

I think you seriously overestimate the power of bullets and underestimate how resilient humans are.

If anything, this shooting makes a ton more sense than the Mike Brown one simply because kid decided to aim the gun at the cop despite being told to put it down.
Also the orange tip was off so i doubt the cop would have known it was a BB gun.

not too long ago, the same exact thing happened to another man, who was unsurprisingly black

also anyone else wanna point out that its almost always guys that the police shoot
just an observation

well maybe the fact that he was 12 and the guy who called 911 said it was a fake gun

Hi, I'm white. When I was 15 a cop put a gun in my face over a BB gun, did I stutter when I said I'm white?

And stop acting like the news shows everything, they don't. They show what they want in order to create bias'd opinions.
