Author Topic: Why do people get so mad when someone bumps an old topic?  (Read 1140 times)

Can't solve stuff posting without tough love.

Even at that she didn't even know what she was talking about half the time. She looked at OP and immediately thinks the accused is at fault.
Not to mention she was banned for doing that. Plus, OP, do you think most new users became better from friendly quarrel? No.
When I came onto this forum I was a complete dumbass, but after a drama, a few people pointing out my errors and a ban gave me a free chance at starting over and showing improvement.

Bumping is also annoying because:
1. Pushes new content off the front page
2. Brings a topic people want to die back up
3. Unintelligible posts usually fallow with those bumps.
4. Cause's new topic derail and other stuff storm's to occur.

maybe they just want to fit in by being overly aggro
there are a lot of instances of this on this forum
like, idk if its just me or it really bothers me when people try to do this

they get mad about it because it pushes new content off of the first page.

of course they could always just go to the second page to see more new threads, but that would take time.

add-on topics should either be exempt from the age lock or have a much higher limit
as long as an add-on works, it's just as good in 2010 as it is in 2014.

Oh wait, yeah you're right.
I got that backwards.
